Hospital files of 112 evaluable patients with acute leukemia followed by the Hematology Division of Internal Medicine Department of Cerrahpaşa Medical School in two consecutive years were retrospectively evaluated. The clinical and laboratory features and outcome in 10 patents with a compatible clinical picture of neutropenic enterocolitis were recorded and the relevant literature were reviewed.
